The oral literature of Kohkiloyeh and Boyerahmad province in Iran shows considerable extent and diversity. The cause may depend on a number of factors. Geographical constraints, limitations of geographical and cultural links, deprivation of formal education and wider illiteracy.It seems that the sum of these factors has caused the people of these areas to be transmitted and preserved their aspirations, regrets and thoughts of the people of these areas in the form of folk poetry and stories, chest to chest. This has helped to keep them authentic and more intact.
